5 Things To Do To Improve Your Game In The Off-Season

Here are 5 simple things you can do during the off-season to improve your game on the field!

1. Workout - This may seem obvious but working out is the best way to strengthen your game during the off-season. Increased overall strength will benefit hitting power, speed, agility and prevention of injuries.

2. Watch Softball - There are hundreds of professional games online that are available to watch. Learn softball situations and keep it fresh in your head. This will help you recongize plays and make better decisions in game play.

3. Swing - Try to find hitting cages, an empty pull barn or even your garage and just swing the bat. Keep your swing comfortable and consistent so come season your swing is ready to go. If space is allowed hit live balls, if not hitting of a tee or even taking dry swings will be benefitial.

4. Throw - Throw whenever possible. Whether it is with a buddy on your team or a tennis ball onto the wall out back. Keeping the motion of throwing will help your arm get stronger and prevent injury when season begins.

5. Talk Softball - Talking softball with teammates, friends and whoever else will listen will keep it exciting and help boost overall enjoyment for the game. Softball is supposed to be fun and playing softball with your best buds can't be beat!
